Mx records of the same weight are returned in random order when a DNS lookup and compliant sending MTAs will try the first one returned first. If that server is unavailable it will try the next. For jr.com there is only one Mx record in your public facing DNS, so I guess you're speaking about some other unnamed domain here.
For our hosted applications we've used multiple equally weighted Mx records in the past and have seen a pretty even split in terms of messages across each MTA. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:bounce- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Aristotle Zoulas > Posted At: Thursday, May 11, 2006 8:18 AM > Posted To: swynk > Conversation: To sites , two Exchange Servers > Subject: To sites , two Exchange Servers > > > > > > Good Morning to all, > > > We have two locations (one org) and we recently put an Exchange 2003 > server in each location.
