This is sorta OT, because it's not really a problem I need help with,
nor is it a solution I have to somebody else's question.

A directory wants me to look into www.certifiedmail.com for "a solution
for sending encrypted email." Currently, we have no HIPAA compliance
stuff in place, but then, the banking and insurance portions of my
company have struck out on their own so we're not responsible for them
anymore. My feeling is that Exchange 2003 has encryption built-in with
no additional software and no additional $$ to an outside vendor, and we
probably don't even need the HIPAA, SOX, etc. compliance.

Any ideas about this or any other solution?
