If it's an intermittent problem -- what AV are you running? Symantec? I've seen pretty severe performance hits when new definitions arrive, if the settings aren't just right.

Also, when they hit reply, the reply (new email) takes 30 seconds or so to come up on the screen. There seems to be some bottleneck. Does not happen often but enough to be noticeable. We are running a variety of clients including OL2000,OLXP,OL2003. Seems to be happening with all three. In our old environment we were running Exchange 5.5, one store, one machine and surprisingly enough, the Outlook/Exchange interaction was much faster. Any thoughts what we should be looking for?
