I run into that from time to time (I have quite a few different
domains).  The way I deal with it - yes, I know it's jury-rigging, not
really correcting the problem, but sometimes one simply has to get
things working as quickly as possible - is to move the mailboxes from
one Exchange server to another.  That seems to kick something in the
butt and generate the address stamp and the GAL listing.  Then I move
them to where they belong.

It's definitely a RUS issue, but who has time for troubleshooting a
hard-to-replicate intermittent issue when you have a workaround?

For some reason, starting today, when we create a new account and select
to automatically have an Exchange 2003 mailbox created, it's not
working.  If I go into Active Directory, the Exchange tabs are there,
but if you look under E-mail Addresses for the SMTP address, its
completely blank.

Something makes me think I've heard of this exact problem before.  Wish
I could remember the exact resolution!

I've already hit the "recipient update service" several times, and it's
been over 4 hours since the account(s) were created.

Anybody have any ideas?
