How long did you wait after creating the group before trying to add it?
It takes up to 2 hours sometimes for everything to shake out for a new
Mail enabled group, sometimes longer if your SUS is acting up.

Do you mean by it having an Email account associated to the group ? If
so, it does have an Email account setup for it.

It needs to be a Mail enabled group.

Subject: Group Permissions for Public Folders

  Hello Guys,

I'm trying to setup my Public Folders permission so I can add Groups
and grant the rights to that instead of having individuals ( we were in
mixed mode ) granted the right to the public folders. I've gone through
and created a USG and dropped myself in the group. Then I went into the
client permission for the public folder and added the group as an owner
of the folder. The problem is when I go to edit the folder from outlook
it does not give me the permissions tab where I can go and edit the
perms for the folder.

Is the USG group the correct group to create for managing permission
of the Public Folders. Do I have to assign rights for the group in
another location besides the Client Permissions?
