Tracking logs are essentially text-based. A simple perl script could easily process your logfiles for you. Do you speak perl?
I have a perl script that scans tracking logs for a specific string and outputs stylised versions of any record it finds the string within, but that's not quite what you're after. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of titanic panic Sent: 25 September 2006 23:02 To: Exchange Discussions Subject: parsing a tracking.log file Hello, We're on Exch 5.5 SP4. Is there a tool out there that can strip all the e.mail addresses in an exchange 5.5 tracking log file? This would hopefully do two things. One, external people can be notified that their incoming e.mails weren't properly received for a two hour window. Two, I can keep my job. Thanks for any help, joon yoo _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
