-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Boyd, Nathan Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2006 7:42 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: #5.2.3 but it shouldn't We have: 2 x Exchange 2003 SP2 BE servers 1 x Exchange 2003 SP2 FE Server 1 x DMZ Mail Gateway We are receiving a #5.2.3 NDR "This message is larger than the current system limit". We do not set any restrictions on outbound e-mail and this e-mail is intended for external delivery. To test I have manually set the outbound limits on the Global Message Delivery, The Internet Mail Connection and FE SMTP Virtual Server level to 2GB. The message I am currently testing has been formatted in Plain, RTXT and HTML has no content and the attachment size seems to get caught over 20MB. We have been running 2003 for about 1 ½ years but only updated to SP2 last week. This is the first report we have had of any outbound attachment restriction in all this time with over 2000 users. My guess is that this is related to an SP2 feature that I am not aware of? Thanks for your input.
