Per my calculations, outsourced exchange make sense if the number of mailboxes are up to about 20-30. I agree with your increasing SPAM, security , maintenance expenses which keeps growing.
One company I can think of is personable.com , I haven't used them , but have had few friends with good experience. They are CA based though (I still don't agree though with your local requirement need, but than it's your business hence you know it better.) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tim Weid Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 5:23 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: [SPAM-FILT] - RE: Hosted Exchange services - Number of numbers in MIME From exceeds maximum threshold The additional cost of a proper spam server/smtp gateway server and an upgraded firewall makes it cost prohibitive. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Scharff Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 3:20 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Hosted Exchange services Since they have an SBS server... which includes Exchange, why are they switching to a hosted Exchange provider instead of simply using the Exchange instance they have properly? > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:bounce- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of MSX dude > Posted At: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 3:47 PM > Posted To: swynk > Conversation: Hosted Exchange services > Subject: Hosted Exchange services > > I have a friend that has a local business with 9 employees with plans > to expand to 11 or so in the next year.
