Virtual every tool for gathering stats basis its information on the
message tracking logs. 
Therefore if you don't have message tracking turned on, then get it
turned on. 

You may get away with the eval period of something like Quest Message
Stats or Mail Detective to generate the information that you need. If
you are any good with Access, then Promodag have a tool to covert the
logs in to a database, which you can then run reports from. 

Message tracking is the key here, once you have the raw data you can do
lots of things with it.

We have consultants helping us to analysis our communications style.

So e-mail is coming under review.

Current Use, as in though put, in being Questioned.

Our SPAM software has a good enough report for most of the in-bound
mail.  

But I needing out-bound mail stats as well.  That should separate out
NDR versus an actual e-mail.

Is there a an overall volumn/traffic report somewhere for E2K3?
