Two things to decide:
1.  Will the person need an Exchange mailbox?  If the person retrieve all
mail from the outside mailbox then he or she doesn't need an Exchange
mailbox.
2.  Does the person need an Active Directory account for any other domain
applications?

If the answer to 1 is yes, then create a separate mail-enabled contact with
the target address set to the outside mail account, and make that contact an
alternate recipient on the user's account.

If the answer to 1 is no and the answer to 2 is yes, then change the user
account from a mailbox-enabled account to a mail-enabled account (first
delete the mailbox, then add an e-mail address in Exchange Tasks) and make
the target address the outside mailbox's address.

If the answers to both 1 and 2 are no, then delete the user account and
mailbox and replace it with a mail-enabled contact.

Hello everyone,

 

Does anyone know how to forward and exchange mailbox or mail to an external
email account.  Using Microsoft Exchange?

I checked all the settings, but I could not find it.  I found how to forward
them internally but not externally.  Any help?
