List, Where I work we are being mandated to purge all our systems of Social Security Numbers. In the case that the SS# can't be purged we must use encryption. Has anyone else gone through a similar process with exchange?
I need to be able to scan the store for emails that appear to contain SS#'s and generate a report so that the users/managers can verify if they are or are not SS'#. Is there a tool that can do this? For encryption of emails with SS#'s the only thing I can think of would be to have the user archive them and then encrypt the pst. I would not want to try and encrypt the entire store. Lastly is there any software out there than can scan out going email that looks like it's a SS# and block/alert user that they should not send? Thanks for any input Matt _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
