I'm seeing possible Daylight Savings Time updates regarding Collaboration Data Objects..... and a Time Zone Data Update Tool that can be ran on either the Outlook Client OR Exchange?
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/931667 I recently upgraded to Exchange 2003 SP2, then applied the Daylight Savings Time Patch from KB926666. Is that enough, or do I still need to do something else to prepare for the time change? There seem to be fixes all over the place for this thing. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chinnery, Paul Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 8:02 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Daylight Saving Time patch for Exchange. Wasn't there something recently that said you could buy the hotfix for $4000? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dean Cunningham Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 4:41 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Daylight Saving Time patch for Exchange. You don't, unless you know someone with a CSA and probably even then, they wouldn't be allowed to let you have it. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tony Nguyen Sent: Friday, 2 February 2007 10:34 To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Daylight Saving Time patch for Exchange. I was reading http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone/dst2007.mspx and there was a little section on Exchange 5.5. Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5: The update is available now. Exchange Server 5.5 is under Custom Support phase until January 2008. Customers with Customer Support Agreements (CSAs) can request a hotfix through their Technical Account Managers. What if you we don't have CSAs? How would you get the hotfix? -----Original Message----- From: Pfefferkorn, Pete (pfeffepe) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 6:17 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Daylight Saving Time patch for Exchange. Exchange 2003 sp2. Since congress passed the Energy Policy Act the DST dates are changing. Looks as if there are going to be some issues with the start/end dates for DST time changes required KB926666. Release date of Jan, 16 2007. Anyone applied this patch yet? There is a server patch as well. I would be nice if both patches were included in the windows update prior to the second week in March.
