Doh! I knew I was forgetting something.

We're using MS Office Outlook 2003 Pro, SP2.

The answer would depend on your version of Outlook. There are profile

have some capability in this area.

Subject: Possible script??

Hey folks,

This coming weekend, we are doing our Exchange migration.

Scenario:
     Exchange 5.5, SP4 on Window 2000, SP4 in an NT4.0, SP6a domain

migrating to

Exchange 2003 Enterprise, SP2 (native) on Windows 2003 Enterprise, SP1
in a Windows 2003 Native AD

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to create a new org for the
new Exchange version. Because of this, there is no supported migration path
to move from our 5.5 org to the new E2k3 org...the Move Mailbox Wizard does
not apply.

So...what we are doing is Exmerging a copy of the mailboxes out to .pst
files, then reimporting the .pst files into the new mailboxes.
In addition, we will be using the Outlook Profile Tool to create a new
profile on their machine, point it at the new server, where it will resolve
their name and open their mailbox.

HOWEVER...it won't automatically add .pst files from their old profile, to
their new profile. What I was wondering was, if anyone knows of a tool or
script that WILL do this (preferably agentless)?
Another option would be a script that could scan the Outlook profile of
every workstation on the network and create a flat text file that looked
something like this:
     Profile Name: JODoughn
          User Name: domain\user
          Server: Server Name
          Mailbox: Joebag O. Doughnuts
          Data Files: c:\documents and settings\jodoughn\my
documents\outlook.pst

Is something like this possible? It would be a great asset to our Help Desk
folks, when people are too stupid to read the e-mail we have sent out
telling them how to find this info on their own.

Thanks in advance,

Jim Blunt
