Subject: How necessary is MTA stacks service in Exchange 2003?

Hi folks,

I remember reading it some place that once you bring Exchange 2003 to Native
mode, MTA Stacks service is automatically disabled. We have been running
Native Exchange 2003 in our forest (6 domains) and all servers still have
this service running. What concerns me are MTA Warnings 9302 now and then.
Can we simply disable this service and not worry about these warnings.
Thanks.

Jay
