(or exporting their oversized mailboxes to PSTs) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Durkee, Peter Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 4:15 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: EXTREME log files
Do you have any mailbox moves going on? People importing big PST files? Both will pump up the logs without showing any activity in the queues or in the SMTP logs. -Peter -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Q Jr. Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 1:09 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: EXTREME log files Group - In the last 3 days I have 4 Exchange servers (diff. Orgs) that have seen a dramatic increase in the number of log files. Has anyone else seen this? Is there an way to tell what is causing the logs to fill-up? The queue isn't showing any abnormal signs and the SMTP connection display doesn't show any large number of connections. Thanks, John Q Jr. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
