I use the following (too many domains to search otherwise) - Open Active Directory Users and Computers - Right-click on any Domain. - Go to Find. - Change the Find dropdown to "Custom Search" - Change the "IN" dropdown to "Entire Directory" - Go to Advanced tab. - Type "(proxyAddresses=smtp:[EMAIL PROTECTED])". (Just place the SMTP you are looking for as the variable)
This will give you the object -- of any type (user, group, contact, public folders, etc.) -- that has that e-mail address.
