I'm trying to get Activesync to work from the Internet. OWA works perfectly, OMA seems to work too (we did have to import the Geotrust root cert onto the Windows Mobile 6 device we're using).
Our Exchange 2003 SP2 server is throwing up the following error: Event Type: Error Event Source: Server ActiveSync Event Category: None Event ID: 3031 Date: 03/01/2008 Time: 11:44:07 User: MIRANET\Paul Moore Computer: MAIL03 Description: The mailbox server [fqdn.of.server] does not allow "Negotiate" authentication to its [exchange] virtual directory. Exchange ActiveSync can only access the server using this authentication scheme. I followed this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/215383/ and sure enough the "NTAuthenticationProviders" property is not defined, which, as I interpret the article means I don't need to change anything.
