Wouldn't be the first time I've missed something, but this one surprises me.
I haven't seen any of those postings on Exmerge, and I'm glad that others
have noted its viability. All I've seen from MS and from Exchange bloggers
is Exmerge is dead, forget Exmerge, etc...

Contrary to the cruel rumors coming out of Redmond, Exmerge works just
fine
on Exchange 07. I was able to do that from a Server 03 machine that has
Exchange 03 on it. The next step is to work out what other platforms
Exmerge will work from.
While Exmerge will work on regular 07 SGs, it will not work on 07's RSG,
or
at least I haven't been able to get it to work yet. But this can be
worked
around by recovering a mailbox with 07 Troubleshooter to a special
recovery
mailbox, and then Exmerging that to a PST.
It is that ability to recover to a PST without touching the target mailbox
that I prize greatly, and which Troubleshoter is unable to do, apparently.
