Use the deployment guide. The whole point of a FE server is to handle
OWA and RPC/HTTPS. You're on the right track.

The user sites I have been able to find information just have it with a
1 server configuration and only make note that it's harder to get it to
run in a front-end back-end configuration an don't cover that part.

I'm sure it can be done, but have been unable to find what to do.  I've
tried to setup the front end the way they had the single server setup
configured, but am still unable to connect.
