We have an Exchange Active Sync (EX2K3 FE/BE SP2) setup with ISA 2006 and about 300 EAS users on Mobile 5, 6 and IPhone.
This year we plan on installing Exchange 2007 with a view to utilizing Unified Messaging, SharePoint 2007 on Mobile 6 and Citrix via Mobile devices. Now though (I mean literally today) we have been provided the direction of implementing BES, in order to support a limited amount of users who require blackberry Curve 8330 devices. I am looking for the best way to deliver service to these devices without spending 10's of thousands of dollars, using the smallest amount of time to implement and hopefully not being disruptive on the projects that already exist and have timelines (basically avoiding a BES implementation). I was hopeful something like road sync would work, but Blackberry does not seem to be supported. The users don't really care how the solution is provided as long as it does not impact them in any way and they have calendaring, GAL and messaging (I don't think the desktop product or internet service product will achieve this criteria). Does anyone support blackberry users without a BES server, and if BES is the only way what kind on work was involved for you (testing, ISA security settings? device configuration, known problems etc?) Thanks, Nathan _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
