Hi all,
We're running Exchange 2003 SP2 and am having an issue when sending as a mail enabled security group. I get the dreaded message "you don't have permission to send to this recipient". What I'm finding is that when I assign the send-as permission to a group object if fails even though I am a member of the group, however when I assign the permissions to a user object it works. Ideally what I would like to do is this Create a security group called support that is mail enabled ([email protected]) Add members to the group. Then assign the send-as permission to the group "support" so that anyone who is added as a member automatically has this privilege. Is there any reason I should not be able to do this? I've restarted the Exchange IS and System Attendant services several times.
