Could do it if you change from a secondary SMTP to a distro group. I'd create
a distro group, with this person as the only member, then set the perms, and
off he goes.

Subject: [Exchange] Send As

I have a user [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. I added an
address to his properties so he could receive mail sent to
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. Project doesn't have a
separate mailbox, it's mail just gets delivered to Joe's address and Joe has a
rule that redirects project mail to a specific folder. Now, Joe would like to
send mail as [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> so mail comes
from the project instead of him. Is it possible to do a send as when project
doesn't have a mailbox?

Thanks for your help.
