Best guess I had.

Glad you figured it out.

Sorry, forgot to follow up on this...
re-adding the original server didn't work. we just blew it out and recovered
the PFs to pst's and then imported those into Outlook and then copied the info
back... yech. was not a pleasant few days.

thanks for your help.

Re-Add the original server to the replicas list. Wait a couple of hours. Bounce

it does not appear to be...
what's killing me here is that the data seems to be just... poof... gone, not
deleted.
using PFDAVAdmin it is not showing that the data was deleted. (also there are
no deleted subfolders)

I'm at a loss where to even look, i'm reading that restoring the publicfolder
DB may not fix this ...

If I can find any of the data I'll try AddReplicas next time... ug

Is it still present on the old server?

I detest MoveAllReplicas. It has bitten me several times over the years.

I always use AddReplicasToPFRecursive.

Subject: [Exchange] Public folders

Hi guys,

I'm moving exchange 2007 from %old_server% to %new_server% and something
happened to one of my public folders.

of the 8 folders in there they all seem fine except (of course) the most
important one. our organizational contacts.

it shows as empty, not deleted, just empty. I cannot find what I did wrong or
where they went.

I ran MoveAllReplicas, gave it time to work, and then
get-PublicFolderStatistics to see what was running, and it shows up that
nothing is running.

and here I am, with nothing in my Contacts...

thoughts on where to look or how to recover this?
