Nope, unfortunately that doesn't exist in 2007 L From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jump, Stewart Sent: 27 September 2013 17:29 To: [email protected] Subject: [Exchange] RE: Updating exchange version on contacts (exchange 2007)
Nick, For Exchange 2010 you can run Get-MailContact | Update-Recipient We run this every day as we have IIFP creating 2003 style contacts. It hasn't broken any that have already been updated. Isn't there a similar command in 2007 ? Looking into the issue and it appears that some of them have been using the exchange 2003 tools and AD users and computers to create the contacts which means the exchange version is wrong. Mailboxes were easy to fix with this when it came up before by just applying mandatory properties, but this isn't an option for contacts, and the tricks for 2010 don't seem to work either. Anyone got any bright ideas as I've got about 150 to update and could do without having to do it by hand!
