I would not expect 2012 R2 support with CU3. Just look at the timing when CU3 
was due vs. 2012 R2 GA.

To the second question, you get to choose who receives the report, if you use 
the migration batch method (as opposed to the move request method):

...when is this happening? Fairly sure no one knows, or can say officially 
(Looking at you MBS) but we need to make a decision here whether to deploy 
production with 2012 RTM, or try and hold out a month or two for 2012 R2 
support, which might come with CU3.

Another, easier to answer question is, was I dreaming once when I read that a 
move request TO 2013 would generate an email to the mailbox owner saying it's 
completed?
