Thanks Michael, I have.
I followed this blog:

http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2010/management-administration/mobile-device-management-part1.html

Created a script to add the devices as "activesyncdeviceIDsallowed".

>exemptions."

Unless I'm way off base, the setup I have should have worked.
if I run "get-casmailbox -filter {activesyncalloweddeviceids -ne $null} |ft
name,activesyncalloweddeviceids -auto"
I get a list of all the device ids.

I am stumped.

Thanks!

There is a great discussion on device quarantine and containment on
msExchangeTeam.com. Have you checked it out?

Subject: [Exchange] Fwd: Exchange 2010 ABQ policies

Good morning!

So, we decided to implement an EAS policy that quarantines all devices except
for a list of specific users and specific devices.
I added the device IDs to the users "ActiveSyncAllowedDeviceIDs".

This morning, I changed the org policy to "quarantine".
Every single device was quarantined - including the ones I specifically added.

Can anyone point me to what I missed?

Thanks!!
Candee
