Hi, Still 10 MEG here. Caveat: We reviewed this internally about a year ago and stuck with that limit at the time. Reason: Our college system has about 30 independent email systems that set their own limits and the majority also reported 10 MEG limits. The majority of the concerns here were sending large attachments to other colleges in our system, so to avoid support calls we stayed with this limit ( to match the common destination site 10 MEG limits) as any email delivery issue always comes back to our service desk to troubleshoot.
We are lucky in that our college system does provide a secure file transfer web site to transfer very large files to others in our system and works well. Of course that does not resolve outside our college system, but so far, that has not been a major support call issue.
