... You guys mean EMC right? And I agree with Michael. I have a customer that pre-stages some distribution groups, but they are technically universal security groups. We would mail enable them through EMC or EMS, thus adding the proper exchange attributes to the original security group object.

ADUC doesn't do that. It treats a DG as if it were a SG, pretty much. (As a security object, not an Exchange object.)
