MS released a fairly new app for iDevices (soon Androids) and it works great! It is very similar to the built-in Mail app on Win8 machines. It utilizes OWA for Devices not ActiveSync. Its free so search for it in the stores as OWA for iPhone/iPad by Microsoft Corp.
