I should also mention that I can get the cert working in EX2013 when testing on a Windows Mobile 6.5 device, just not an iPad with the certificate/profile loaded. So that seems to eliminate the server as the problem. Unless there are some settings in ECP that I'm missing related specifically to Apple devices.
