If anyone has any insight on this I would greatly appreciate it.

We currently have a single front-end Lync 2010 server and a single Edge server.
We are making some changes to our phone system that require a Trusted
Application Server pool to be setup for online presence info to be displayed in
the custom phone client.

Does this require a require a new server to be setup with the basic Lync
components, UCMA and certificate installed? Or can I just set both the pool
fqdn (single server) and the next hop to the front-end server?

Also if using the front-end server is a valid option do I need to install UCMA
on the front-end server?

Thanks,
Andy
