There are lots of 3rd party programs that provide this functionality. I'm not aware of any that are free (ExInsight was available for Exchange 2007, but it appears they have disappeared).
Historically, PromoDag and MessageStats were the recommended solutions. There are a lot more. http://www.slipstick.com/addins/exchange-server-usage-reporting-and-analysis-tools/ It's also fairly easy to create your own. For some examples, see: http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2007/monitoring-operations/creating-graphical-reports-exchange-2007-part1.html and check out Log Parser Studio: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2013/06/17/log-parser-studio-2-2-is-now-available.aspx From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alice Goodman Sent: Tuesday, September 9, 2014 7:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Exchange] Count of incoming email and outgoing email by mailbox Does anyone know of a script or application that could give me a count of incoming email and / or outgoing email by person for their mailbox? It is probably an HR request, but all I know is that the head of IT asked me for this. I can look at the Barracuda and see what comes in / out external to the company, but I don't know how to show internal to the company. I am hoping someone on here has something like that already written or knows of one. Long time no chat.. :) Many thanks, Alice
