Ok. I have this ironed out.
I am going to write a procedure for my admins. I'll put it up here so everyone
can correct me before I teach my team junk.
Thanks
Again everyone was on point and to the point.
That's why I will never leave these lists.

Powershell can indeed be used but frankly the UI is so much faster than
researching the right syntax to narrow in on what you want.
Just put in the destination address and hit resolve then go down to select
Receive (I think Send is the default). Lock it down by dates to speed things
up. After it chews a bit it'll present a screen of the mail items received for
that mailbox in that time frame. Select the one you're interested in and hit
Next again. It'll then give all the details it knows about that message
including if it was delivered to the mailbox.
I do recommend learning the Powershell to manage message tracking but for now
you need an answer, so use the UI.

Ok I have this Message Tracking working.
Is there a Powershell that will work?

If you do not already have protocol logging turned up then Message Tracking is
the only other choice to find and follow the path. Blowing it off because it's
complaining about permissions is denying yourself the one tool available to
answer your question. Fix the permission issue; message tracking is an
invaluable tool; I use it daily.

Properties of the receive connector (or conversely, the send connector).

On the desktop now.
No rules.
Looking in EMC console Message tracking is upset about permissions and no logs
that I can find so I think Verbose is turned off.
Where do I check for that?

Or added a rule they didn't think would affect a particular sender.

Where do I look to find out where this mail is being delivered?
