Rebooted server where Trend Mobile product was uninstalled and factory reset
phone.
Not sure which helped but no message today.
I am very inclined to believe it was the Trend Mobile blocking me at 10:00 am
every morning because I updated to an iPhone version above the policy allowance.
As it should have. However, the product had expired and there was no way to
verify this.
So the uninstall and reboot of the server per Trend Support seems to have been
the fix.
Thanks all who looked into this and gave me pointers on where to look.
I am missing out of this thread the Get- (Mobile device or activesync settings.)
If anyone still has them please respond with them.
I am writing a doc for my department on where to look when this is occurring in
the future so they don't have to feel helpless like I did.
Thanks again.
David

Have you tried deleting the ExchangeActiveSyncDevice container for your device
in ADSIEdit?

worth a try, you wont lose anything

Neither helped.
New policy still got blocked.
The correct phone was already there.
I am firmly believing it is residue from testing with Trend Micro Mobile
protection but we have uninstalled and removed the cert from this phone.
I am think factory defaulting it but really wanted to find the source so I can
kill it.

Go into AD; view the attributes. Manually add the phone to the
mobiledevicesallowed attribute. Also, remove anything under the
mobiledevicesblocked attribute.
Okay, it's msexchmobilealloweddeviceIDs.

Not sure exactly how to do that.
I have saved the policy several times but I don't think I am doing what you are
saying..

Did you try creating a separate Activesync policy just for you (and apply it to
you)?

Not funny.
Three weeks and I still don't find this event in the event viewer??
All I do to fix this on my phone is go to ECP and allow access.
Save and email flows again??

Your phone won't be able to synchronize with the server via Exchange ActiveSync
because of an access policy defined on the server.
