I realize this may not get any answers as it is more of a case by case ; given the following VM Guest Windows 21012 Ex 2013 Resources allocated 2 Xeon 1.86 12 gb ram raid 10 120GB mailstore ~80 mailboxes is there any way determine (guess-timate) how long it will take to apply CU6 ? ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Exchange] RPC crashing Date: Fri, 21 Nov 2014 09:59:26 -0500 thx , will update this weekend- any "gotchas" I should look out for? this is a single server environment ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Exchange] RPC crashing Date: Fri, 21 Nov 2014 14:49:27 +0000 I believe that was fixed in CU6. Once I realized it was Outlook i went to check RPC service and sure enough it was stopped. Now this article, and many others have suggested the "fix" is to stop the health monitoring service , IMO that's a "bandage" not a "fix" http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_28118656.html Anyone know of a real fix for this? thx
