I always allocate 1.5 hours for a CU and/or a UR and/or a SP.

Subject: RE: [Exchange] RPC crashing-CU6 time

I realize this may not get any answers as it is more of a case by case ;
given the following

VM Guest
Windows 21012
Ex 2013
Resources allocated

2 Xeon 1.86
12 gb ram
raid 10
120GB mailstore
 ~80 mailboxes

is there any way determine (guess-timate) how long it will take to apply CU6 ?

I believe that was fixed in CU6.

Hi all

Ex2013 running on 2012, this is the 2nd time in one week that "email is down" ,
it wasn't actually down, as activesync and MXalerts reported no outage. Once I
realized it was Outlook i went to check RPC service and sure enough it was
stopped.

Now this article, and many others have suggested the "fix" is to stop the
health monitoring service , IMO that's a "bandage" not a "fix"

Anyone know of a real fix for this?

thx
