Okay, this one is driving me crazy.
We use IIFP 2003 (I know, I know) to sync the GAL between three domains.
Suddenly we are getting corrupt contacts for our North America sister
company.
A lot of them.
European contacts are fine.

I know the NA sister company made changes. I just don't know *what*
changes. They say nothing changed.
They outsourced their domain and Exchange org to a company that's not
familiar with Exchange (Yay, them).

Okay, so I thought I determined the problem - 2 things - 1 - they took
their primary DC offline. IIFP then found the nearest DC for them, which is
a read only one that sits in my domain. 2 - They made some changes to their
password policy, causing the account we use to sync to be locked out.

I disabled the GALSync totally; while I investigate setting up Quest Quick
Connect to replace it.

I thought this should have at least prevented further corruption.
However, mail contacts from the NA company that weren't corrupted, are
showing up as corrupted....

The mail contact is picking up the Europe LegacyExchangeDN in addition to
the NA one, and in ADSIEdit, the DN is suddenly Raymond's.

Any idea wtf is happening??
Thanks all.
Candee
