Then the server isn't stopping the connections. That was my point. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gavin Wilby Sent: Monday, February 16, 2015 7:09 AM To: '[email protected]' Subject: [Exchange] RE: Remote connection issue - strange

From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gavin Wilby Sent: Friday, February 6, 2015 10:18 AM To: '[email protected]' Subject: [Exchange] Remote connection issue - strange Hi, I have an exchange 2010 SP2 server sat on a 2012r2 server. Its all fully patched and working fine. I have a remote user that has an iPhone to connect to the server, he also uses OWA from his computer. We have found that when he is on his normal Internet connection his iPhone will stop being able to load messages, the headers come through but the body never loads. At the same time this happens, the OWA then stops working. The OWA and ActiveSync use the same address on the internet. However, if we flick his iPhone to his 4G it works immediately, when we then used his iPhone as a hot spot for his PC, OWA then loads immediately. Now this would all be explainable if it was the same location (a problem with his internet ISP), however he has just taken a flight from his home in Switzerland to another office in Italy, AND THE SAME THING JUST OCCURRED. When this happens we can, from the UK access OWA with no problem, and we can also access his AS account on another device. The router at the office has no Firewall turned on at this time, and the server has no error logs at all. Anyone seen this and have any ideas? Could the server be seeing these connections and stopping them somehow.
