When a user says something like this, I don't even bother troubleshooting with the user and ask someone to sit as his desk with Outlook open and the phone in the other hand, send some test emails and see exactly what is happening. Otherwise, the problem is going to end up being something like he has 4 mail accounts configured and his Yahoo mail isn't showing up in Outlook.
