I have the Ironport ESA as my front end for port 25 traffic and it says the
every time he was dropped the conversation before I was getting a chance to
shake his hand and begin our dialog.
His email server was being very rude. And I seem to have had to many debugging
drinks today.
I'll let my mind settle for today and stop typing but he never actually made it
to my exchange servers because he kept dropping the conversation.
:-)
Hope you are doing well.

If he was attempting to connect to you, it should be represented in the
Exchange Connection log.

He does have something similar on his end; and I would strongly request you get
it from him before wasting time, unless there is a Layer 8 issue.

Actually yes it was.
Had a vendor say I was denying him but all he could give me were transient
errors?

Was this a serious question?

What causes transient errors?
