We currently have an Exchange 2010 SP3 hybrid setup.
Down to the last few mailboxes to move over before everything is off the 
on-prem.

Two questions if that's correct:

1)      Since the on-premise Exchange will just be for certain 
management/provisioning tasks, what role(s) will we still need on-prem?

a.       Much to gain from more than one box?

2)      Since the on-premise is currently Exchange 2010, what would be involved 
in bumping that to Exchange 2016? I'm assuming largely the same as a normal 
2010 to 2016 upgrade, just no mailboxes to move?
