Hi All, My goal is to install Exch2k on a Win2k DC (test purposes, can't spare multiple machines). Anyway, I'm following Q275127, which gives the path of installing an NT4 PDC, then Exch 5.5, then upgrading to Win2k, and finally upgrading Exch55 to 2k. One of the steps after the Win2k upgrade is: 7. To ensure that Exchange Server 5.5 is coexisting with Windows 2000 Active Directory, verify that the Active Directory Connector (ADC) has been installed, and that a connection agreement has been created. The next step is to upgrade to Exch 2k. I changed the LDAP ports and added a reg key to disable the MAPI port for Active Directory, but now I don't know how to test the above checkpoint. I created a new user in Win2k, but Ex55 didn't seem to recognize anything.. is this proof that it is not working? What else can I look at.
