Really E2K handles FE / BE through a DMZ much better than Exchange 5.5.
But, as I suggested earlier (before this message appeared!) pushing port 443
through to the intranet would probably be relatively safe.

In light of some additional information I've come across (specifically
security discussions on the pros and cons of a DMZ F/E B/E OWA
implementation), I think I'm just going to bypass the DMZ altogether and
open 443 straight to the mailbox server.

Any thoughts on this (I'm sure there are plenty).  Thanks for input.
