Do you have an autoreply set up or is this happening when one of the users
with send-as permissions replies to a mail? If an autoreply, how was the
rule created and with what client?
Also how many replicas of the PFs do you have and across how many
routing/admin groups?
Does it happen with internally sent and received mail or just replies to
externally sent mail?

I think this is a public folder setup issue but I've failed to find anything
on it.
Situation is we have public folders subscribed to mailing lists and give
users send as permissions for the folders. This worked fine in 5.5
Now in 2000 (clean install in new domain - not upgrade) the public folders
we have created are sending out 3 replies to each mail sent in. These are
appearing as duplicate mails in the mail lists!
Obviously this is one I need to resolve asap.
Any/all hints or tips greatly appreciated.
