I need to recover a Public Folder from backup.
NT 4 sp6a with Exchange 5.5 sp4
Following disaster recovery guidelines:
I installed 5.5 and sp4 to my recovery server. Used NTbackup to recover
from tape to recovery server.
When Information Store tried to start, I received event error "...terminated
with server-specific error 1276."
Microsoft technet sent me to a Q article that said Org and Site names must
match. Using the suggested guideline, I looked in the Exch Srvr Setup log
on the production server and verified that recovery server's Org and Site
name match.
Is there anything else that can cause 1276? I've got Robichaux's book and
have read through the disaster recovery chapter. He does mention eseutil
but cautions against it. Would this help to clear up 1276?
