Another thing to consider (and this is important in the choice of the
software): Have you thought about key backups and/or key escrow? What
would your CEO say when his computer crashes and he can't decrypt his
old emails with the new desktop?
Key Escrow is a sensitive topic, but with strong encryption you can
also shoot yourself in the foot by not being able to decrypt data due
to key loss/corruption.
