Ok, so we content scan on many words / phrases. Yeah, it's a
huge consumption of time in addition to my other duties. Part of upper
management's goal is to stop incoming and outgoing jokes, so I have no
choice but to scan for them. However, it is not a waste of time. Our
scanner does a good job of keeping content (porn, chain letters,
viruses, and typical bs) out of our system. Perhaps in a hurry to get
other duties done, I accidentally declined a message from this
discussion and started this thread. It just so happens I'm also
subscribed to this discussion, and while I'm deleting / approving
messages, I typically scan (read) messages from this discussion since
they are going to me anyway.
I / we do think it's a worthy cause even though it's so time
consuming, and I apologize for my human error in bouncing an email from
this discussion. I will make my best attempt to not let it happen
again.
