Mark,
First off, thanks for the help. Now when you go to bring the EXCH2K server
underneath the 5.5 Organization is asks you for server information rather
than asking for an Organization. So can I assume that placing an EXCH2K box
in an Exchange 5.5 org doesn't place that server as it's own site? Just as
a server in an existing site?
Thanks,

John,
I'd go rapidly to www.exinternals.com and read up on Exchange 2000;
particularly the following paper at the moment -
<http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/techinfo/administration/2000/Ex2000SETUP.
doc>
There are also many excellent whitepapers on other aspects of Exchange 2000.
N.B. the reason it joined an existing site is because that is what you
specified during setup!
Good luck!
Mark
