you can do nslookups from anywhere. the only way you would get a different
answer (or rather no answer) using different systems is if the remote DNS
had an access list.
Also remember that NT handles DNS resolution differently to nslookup - this
is confusing, but that's microsoft!
nslookup queries the specified server. NT queries all servers in it's list
and uses the fastest response, kind of a 'shotgun' approach.
