Duh. Any moron could figure *that* out.
Of course, you're not just *any* moron. You're Tasty Flounder!

There's a KB on that, I'm sure. Let me go search the KB for it...
Yep. There's a KB on it, all right. Gotta read it carefully, but it's
there.
Now go find it. I'll give you a hint. The first number is "2".

Subject: Removing Exchange 2000 after abortive install
I've had this before but always in a test environment where the AD was
expendable but now I cant trash the AD
I've had an Exchange 2000 install go wrong. I've managed to get the
mailboxes off the AD but the server was trashed and rebuilt without
removing Exchange 2000 in any kind of formal way.
I remember once trawling through the Raw AD with some Res Kit command
and picking anything out of the AD that looked like it had to do with
Exchange. This semi worked but at the time I had left the mailboxes on
and for some reason if the user had a mailbox the first time. They
couldn't get another one, again I assume because of something locked
away in the AD
Any one got an kind of documentation on recommended ways of doing
abortive Exchange removes?
Regards
Tim Guy
