The obvious answer is to run scanpst on it 5-6 times and then re-try.  Are you using 
ExMerge or Outlook to try and import the data?  If Outlook, can you manually copy 
items from PST to Inbox (drag-and-drop)?  I've had a similar situation in the past and 
I had to bypass the import process for some of the data.
